This is an excellent point. Small teams with focused missions but flexibility in execution make for success in large organizations. It forces prioritization and focus. Time is also a great organizational forcing factor for an effective leader because it allows you to not care about “everything,” and focus on what at that moment is the “right thing.” This leads to incremental yet transformative successes. It’s the only way to build a successful track record at large corporations.
